Packages start at USD 849 and are fully all-inclusive. Beyond standard tuition, the program features cottage-style accommodation with a swimming pool near Arambol Beach, specialized sound healing sessions, morning beach yoga, and weekly excursions. Batches start on the 1st of every month and are strictly limited to 10–15 students.
Picture waking up to the sound of waves, stepping onto your mat surrounded by palm trees, and spending 21 days doing nothing but deepening your practice. That's what the 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training at Yash Yoga School in Goa feels like — part transformation, part homecoming.
This isn't a weekend workshop or an online module. It's a fully residential, Yoga Alliance–registered (RYS 200) training programme that gives you the knowledge, practice hours, and confidence to teach yoga professionally — or simply take your own practice to a level you didn't think was possible.
The course is open to aspiring yoga teachers as well as dedicated practitioners who want to go deeper. Whether you've been practising for six months or six years, the multi-style curriculum — covering Hatha, Ashtanga, and Vinyasa — meets you where you are and builds from there, guided by experienced Indian yoga teachers in a small group of just 10–15 students.
Goa has dozens of yoga schools. What sets Yash Yoga apart is a combination of setting, teaching quality, and a curriculum built around how people actually learn — not a one-size-fits-all lecture model.
We go beyond the traditional classroom. Your training includes meditative beach yoga sessions on the soft sands of Arambol, allowing you to connect with the natural elements. Additionally, we integrate profound sound healing sessions into the curriculum to aid in deep relaxation, chakra balancing, and nervous system recovery after intense physical practice.
The school sits in a quiet, green pocket of Goa, away from the tourist bustle. Surrounded by forest views, it's the kind of setting where you naturally slow down. Students consistently say that the environment itself — the birdsong, the stillness, the space — plays a big part in how deeply they're able to engage with the training.
Every class is led by teachers who grew up in the Indian yoga tradition and have years of real classroom experience. They don't just demonstrate postures — they explain the reasoning behind each alignment cue, share how practices connect to philosophy, and adjust their guidance to the level of each student. You'll hear the "why" behind every "what."
With only 10–15 students per batch, your teachers know your name, your strengths, and the areas you're working on. You won't get lost in the back of a crowded room. This also means hands-on adjustments, honest feedback on your teaching practice, and a close-knit community by the end of 21 days.
Rather than training you in just one style, the course exposes you to three major traditions. You'll practise the precision of Hatha, the structured intensity of Ashtanga Primary Series, and the creative sequencing of Vinyasa Flow. By the time you finish, you'll have the range to design classes that suit different students and different settings.
Asana is only one limb of yoga, and the course reflects that. Philosophy, pranayama, meditation, anatomy, mantra chanting, and teaching methodology all have dedicated time in the daily schedule. The goal is for you to leave not just as someone who can lead a class, but as someone who lives and understands what yoga actually is.

Three freshly prepared vegetarian meals are served daily, following Sattvic food principles — meaning they're light, seasonal, plant-forward, and free from processed ingredients. Think whole grains, fresh vegetables, fruits, lentils, and dairy options, lightly spiced and cooked with care.
This style of eating isn't a restriction; it's a deliberate part of the training. Sattvic food supports steady energy, clearer thinking, and better sleep — all of which matter when you're practising for several hours each day. It's rooted in Ayurveda and traditional yogic nutrition.
If you have specific dietary needs (vegan, gluten-free, allergies), let the kitchen team know in advance and they'll do their best to accommodate you.
Hearing from people who've been through the training is the best way to understand what the experience is really like. Below are real posts from past students — unedited and shared directly from their Instagram accounts.
